Why is there an authorization charge before the consultation?

The authorization charge is a temporary hold to verify payment details before your consultation. It is not an actual charge and will either be applied to your consultation fee or removed if the appointment is canceled per our policy. We only ask for your credit card ahead of the appointment and it'll only be charged if the doctor approves and prescribes medication. You won't be charged ahead of the appointment.
